P. 56

On another blog I found this :

p. 56
Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence along with these instructions in a note to your wall.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

So I did it, and here is the sentence I found "Sorry, I cannot provide an easy answer for those questions right now."

Is that a sentence for the times we are living in right now? or what?

I just did it too:

"The magic ratio: 5 positive interactions for every 1 negative interaction."

How Full is your Bucket by Tom Rath and Donald Clifton.

Cool! :-)

OK, I finally set up my 'blogger' account...
My closest book said:
"The principle topics in linear algebra involve systems of linear equations, matrices, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, and least squares problems."
From Perry's Chemical Engineering Handbook.
I will NOT be posting this sentence on my wall!

My closest book happens to be the ancient chemistry text I'm using this semester. The fifth sentence reads: "Add 5 mL of water to each test tube."
Hmm...I've never looked at it that way before :-)
