Tela, Honduras

Almost 9 hours later, I made it to my hotel here in Tela, Honduras. This is an old Caribean town, and it still has the feel of 30 yeasr ago. Not that I was here then, but the development has not yet arrived. Of course, I came here for some RnR between trips, and guess what. It´s socked in with Rain. Maybe it will clear later. Very few North Americans, except the guy on the other side of this internet cafe who is talking loudly to the cashier. I´m pretending I only speak German and Spanish so he won´t approach me.

Phew. he´s gone.

The trip here after the St Andrew group left was long, and involved several Bus changes that were unexpected, but what little grasp of Spanish I have has helped. Cambio Bus? Donde esta Bus para Tela, por favor¿

Tomorrow I´ll take another Bus to San pedro Sula to meet Lisa and the group from the New England Synod. Adios for now.
