I am in the new iternet cafe in Yuscaran. Our team is here for our 4th mission trip. On Sunday we celebrated worship, and I preached. It was a simple sermon, and translated (sort of) by Eva. Daniella we need you.
After recovering from the news about the Super >Bowl. We learned this morning. We began helping the Hondurans with construction. We are making the forms for what will be the support beams. This will result i the floor of the church proper being poured. The basement floor and walls are finished. Samantha is playing with the kids in the neighborhood, along with Emily.
Evenings at Los Tablones are such a gift. We really do experience a >Peace here that is profound.
I{ve been able to learn much more about the way the church, and Dagoberto are working. So I have news about Santos, he is studying to become a Lay Pastor. There is much more to tell.
Mostly I now realize that by simply being with these people we are doing two things. One for ourselves We discover what is essential and important in life. The other for them. We affirm them simply by being here.
I will try to write each day, but the internet connection is muy despacio.
