Last night we had a huge campfire, and a gentle rain overnight. Today, thursday, is our final day in Yuscaran. The morning work crew of Bethany, Mike, Shauna and Linda dug out the area above the church basement, which will eventaully be the area where the altar will be located. It was hard work for them, moving boulders, swinging a pick axe and shoveling dirt.
Joyce, Nancy, Samantha & Diane worked with young girls in the impromptu sewing group. Clothes, Aprons, Tablecloths are flying out the door. Barbara and Emily visited with friends from past trips in the peoples homes. Charlotte and I were involved in the children{s activities of games and coloring. I gave out the Preschool photos we had taken back home, and we took pictures of the Honduran kids. Then we were on to printing photos again, as we have in past years. At one point I wa surrounded by a dozen kids watching the photo printer. Thank goodness for Joyce who had tci tacs I could distribute.
Tonight we will have a "Despuedida" That{s a going away party. It will be held up at the cabins at Los Tablones. Then Friday mrning we head for Tegucigalpa, with a stop at Valle de Angeles, which most people on this trip have not seen.
All is well
